Bechtol Premium 1L

Concentrate for disinfecting and cleaning of surgical and rotating instruments.
Properties. Medical device with excellent disinfecting properties and compatibility towards (surgical and rotating) instruments. Bechtol Premium is highly effective against bacteria (incl. MRSA; EN 13727) and yeast (EN 13624). Tested in accordance with the directives of the DGHM (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hygiene und Mikrobiologie) of 4/2015 under high organic load with 15 minutes in a 3% solution and 30 minutes in a 1% solution. Guarantees active protection against M. terrae in 15 minutes in a 3% solution and in 30 minutes in a 2% solution under high organic load (EN 14348). Inactivates HBV/HIV/HCV/BVDV/Vaccinia/HPV/Adeno/Polio/Rota/Noro viruses in 15 minutes in a 3 % solution (EN 14476). Effective as well against BVDV, Rota and Noro viruses in 3%15 minutes under high organic load (EN 14476). Contains no aldehydes and phenols. Non-corrosive. Suitable for use in an ultrasound device in 5 minutes in a 3% solution.
Application. Before first use, remove residues of other disinfectants from the instrument tray. To prepare a 1% working solution: Fill 990 ml tap water into the tub, then add 10 ml Bechtol Premium concentrate. With regard to water quality, the guideline for validation the manual cleaning and manual chemical disinfection of medical devices (Federal Health Gazette 10/2012) must be observed.
Recommended water quality < 8.4 dH. The 1 litre container can be used for dosing the concentrate.
Heavily soiled instruments should first be cleaned with warm water and a soft, clean brush. Place used instruments in the solution and put on the lid. Wet completely. Avoid formation of bubbles.
Observe minimum contact times. Then remove, rinse four times under clear, running water and dry with a clean cloth. Before use in an ultrasonic bath: Cover of the instrument tray. Only remove the cover after cleaning and cooling down. Replace used solution daily (RKI guidelines). In case of visible soiling change solution immediately. Note restrictions on use by instrument manufacturers. Sterilisa-tion according to RKI guidelines. Product not applicable for nerve needles.
